CERTIFICATION

A diamond certificate is report created by a team of gemmologist who specialise in diamond grading. Each diamond certificates issued is uniquely numbered and corresponds to each individual diamond. The diamond is evaluated, measured, and scrutinised using trained eyes, a jeweller’s loupe, microscope, and other industry tools. Each completed certificate includes an analysis of the diamond’s dimension, clarity, colour, polish, symmetry, and other characteristics. Laboratory certification provides an impartial judgment of the characteristics and quality of each diamond.

The diamond certificate is also valuable for insurance purposes, as it provides a professional, independent evaluation of the diamond. Many round diamonds will also include a cut grade on the report.
